The dream of Ringside Boxing Gym started in 2011. Two friends who shared the same passion for exercise and boxing came together to attempt to start something fresh and exciting using old-school boxing integrated with new exercise techniques in order to give the public the experience of lacing up a pair of gloves and pushing themselves physically in an enjoyable, family orientated environment.
We pride ourselves on being a club where we get to know everyone. Ringside is a place where everyone feels at home, irrespective of age, size, shape, fitness level or status. Everyone trains at the gym for various reasons.
Whether you want a hot body, build a bit of fitness or just want to come and take out some frustration on the heavy bag, Ringside is the place for you. No fancy gym kit is needed but if you like putting on a bit of make-up before you sweat then you can do that too! All we care about is our members having a good time, staying active and healthy and living the dream.
WHAT TO EXPECT
OUR INSTRUCTORS WILL LEAD YOU THROUGH A WORKOUT WITH SOME FITNESS DRILLS, EACH CLASS IS UNIQUE AND OFFERS A VARIATION BETWEEN CARDIO, WEIGHTS, CORE STABILITY, KETTLEBELLS AND BOXING – BOTH ON THE BAG AND PAD SESSIONS WITH OUR TRAINER(S).
Our group boxing classes are aimed at people of all fitness levels, shapes and sizes who want to be pushed by our trainers to improve overall health. We have more stress in our lives now than ever before. Use the group boxing class to help you manage your stress and get those endorphins pumping.
PRIVATE ONE-ON-ONE COACHING
Looking to increase your ability or not interested in group classes, then One-On-One sessions are for you. You set your goals, and we work towards achieving them. We offer one-on-one sessions and smaller group personal training session for two or three people.
Training with one of our coaches gives you the flexibility and skill to forge your own path in health and boxing. Private boxing offers you an unparalleled opportunity to learn your own strengths and weaknesses. Private boxing trainers can subsequently equip you with the knowledge and skills to improve on your weaknesses and capitalize on your strengths.
WHEN YOU FIRST JOIN RINGSIDE BOXING GYM THE WEIGHTS ROOM CAN BE AN INTIMIDATING PROSPECT. EVERYONE ELSE IN THERE SEEMS FITTER AND STRONGER THAN YOU, AND THEY ALL SEEM TO KNOW WHAT THEY’RE DOING. JUST REMEMBER THAT EVERYONE STARTED FROM SCRATCH AT SOME POINT AND THE ONLY WAY TO GET MORE COMFORTABLE WITH WEIGHTS IS BY USING THEM.
