But what’s in a name, we hear you ask? A Cubit is a woodworking measurement used in biblical times - The Bible tells us the length of Noah’s Ark was 300 cubits, its width 50 cubits, and its height 30 cubit. Our business is based on biblical principles and we wanted to show that in our name. We thought the word Cubit was most appropriate.

Our business goals are to create happy customers and happy staff members, whilst earning profit and building a business model in a way that is both ethical and sustainable. We believe that our clients valued input enables us to create unique bespoke pieces and master-built kitchens and inbuilt furniture, and therefore place high importance on client communication.

We offer a large range of services and products, using various materials. From local, indigenous to imported, exotic solid woods, veneers to new builds or existing builds that require renovations. We offer once off pieces as well as having the capacity for a full production run. We’ve included in our production numerous items from tables, chairs, side tables, beds, coffee tables, cabinets, TV cabinets, desks and storage boxes, to cutting boards and lamps.

We offer a full range of bespoke services tailored to your individual needs in carpentry and joinery. We also offer a full turnkey solution in the built environment.
